Candy and Kannie were twins who loved playing softball, but they also had a passion for music. They had spent countless hours practicing their instruments, and their hard work had paid off as they were preparing for their first recital. However, the night before the recital, they had a softball game that could determine if they would become state champions in their division.
The game was in its final inning, with two outs and only one more to go. The outcome would decide if they would become champions or not. Did they win? We don’t know. But what we do know is that the girls had a passion for both softball and music, and they had put in the hard work to pursue their dreams in both areas.
Their mother was proud of them for their accomplishments, and she taught them about the light of their Heavenly Father. Just like the hallway light that shined into their room, even in the darkness, their Heavenly Father’s light would always shine bright, guiding them through life’s ups and downs.
This story teaches us that we can pursue our passions and achieve our goals in different areas of our lives. We can excel in sports, music, academics, or any other area that we put our hearts and minds into. And with the guidance of our Heavenly Father’s light, we can navigate through life’s challenges and find success in all that we do.
